Our Story
Tammy Keers is the driving force behind Artisans Bespoke Jewellers. At just 17, Tammy began her jewellery journey, undertaking a Bachelor of Jewellery Design in South Australia. After completing her four-year apprenticeship, she moved to Queensland with a vision — to create a studio that combined inspired design with true technical mastery.
After a short time working for a Brisbane jeweller, Tammy took a leap of faith and established her own workshop, operating from her garage. With a relentless commitment to craftsmanship and a fresh approach to design, her work quickly resonated with clients seeking something truly unique.
As demand grew, so did the business. Three years later, Tammy moved into her Paddington boutique, where Artisans Bespoke Jewellers has now been proudly established for over a decade. What began as a one-woman operation has now evolved into a trusted team of eight, united by a shared dedication to exceptionally manufactured and designed jewellery.
In 2021, Artisans was officially licensed as Proudly Australian Made, recognising our commitment to local craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence.
Our jewellers manufacture on premise, drawing on over 100 years of combined experience across traditional and contemporary techniques. Advocating clarity with our clients and the values of handmade jewellery, our workshop features large viewing windows for clients to witness the artistry and precision unfold behind every piece.
Our dedication to excellence has been recognised across the industry. At the Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) Australasian Jewellery Awards, the prize-winning design, ‘Amelia’ was awarded both Jeweller of the Year (2023) and Diamond Category Winner (2023)— a testament to the calibre of craftsmanship within our team.
In 2024, our piece Khroma was honoured as a Winner at the Australian Opal Awards, further cementing our reputation for innovative design and technical expertise.
Continuing this trajectory, at the end of 2025, Artisans was invited to join the Diamond Guild Australia — a highly respected organisation where membership is by application, vetting, and invitation only.
