A Story Retold in Gold
Our client came to us with four rings and two bracelets — pieces that no longer reflected her style or the level of craftsmanship she truly wanted to wear. While each piece held sentimental value, she felt disconnected from both their quality and design.
During her personalised jewellery consultation, we explored what she was drawn to aesthetically and emotionally. Together, we envisioned a feminine Art Deco-inspired bracelet with delicate floral detailing — a piece that felt elegant, timeless, and uniquely hers. From there, the design was meticulously hand-drawn to scale, allowing her to watch the concept come to life before it was ever created in gold.
The final bangle was entirely handmade in our onsite workshop, featuring an intricate floral top plate and a fully handcrafted hinged clasp mechanism — not a pre-manufactured component sourced externally. Every element was carefully fabricated by hand, ensuring exceptional strength, longevity, and craftsmanship that will endure for generations.
Unlike mass-manufactured cast pieces, a handmade piece offers superior structural integrity and durability. This traditional method of making jewellery is slower and far more intricate, but it allows us to create heirloom-quality pieces made to truly stand the test of time.
Every remodelled piece we create carries a deeply personal story. Our goal is to honour the sentiment of the original jewellery while transforming it into something that feels elevated, meaningful, and beautifully wearable again. From the initial consultation through to the finished piece, every stage of the experience is thoughtfully tailored to you — because jewellery should not only be beautiful, but deeply personal too.
From Outdated to Exceptional
Have you ever taken an old piece of jewellery out of your jewellery box, wished you could wear it again but felt the design was a bit outdated, and wasn’t you? Perhaps it was your grandmother’s ring or your mother’s favourite necklace? You want to honour the memories attached to the jewellery but need a design refresh to match your personal aesthetic.
Many of us have rings, bangles, bracelets and earrings lying in our jewellery boxes that never see the light of day. The Artisans Bespoke Jewellers team can work with you to design new, beautiful and bespoke piece/s using your old and sentimental jewellery.
The Consultation
The jewellery remodelling process begins with a face-to-face consultation in store, during which we discuss your vision and scope for the remodelled piece/s. Do you wish to subtly revise the design to make it feel more current or perhaps take a bolder approach and completely reinvent the look incorporating new materials? Our jewellery designers, who are also qualified jewellers, are the experts in jewellery remodelling transformations!
An Heirloom Reimagined
Remodelling jewellery also presents the opportunity to re-purpose multiple heirlooms into one or more new pieces. The possibilities are endless. Our designers/qualified jewellers will take the utmost care with your precious pieces, so that each new creation still retains the memories and emotional value embedded within.
